Koboshi MCP
Save a word without leaving the chat.
Say save insinuación to Koboshi while you are talking to ChatGPT or working in Claude Code. The word lands in your vocabulary with its meaning and an example. Account included: you can sign up from inside the chat.
… so insinuación is closer to a hint than an accusation?
Yes. It suggests something without saying it outright, and it usually carries a negative edge.

claude mcp add --scope user --transport http koboshi https://koboshi.app/mcp--scope user connects Koboshi for every project, not only the folder you are standing in. Leaving it out is the most common reason the connector seems to vanish.
Tested end to end in Claude Code.
Chatbots
ChatGPT, Claude. Add a connector in settings and paste this address.
https://koboshi.app/mcpEach chatbot puts connectors in a slightly different place in its settings, and both are rolling the feature out gradually.
Being tested now. A step-by-step walkthrough lands here when it passes.
After that
Three steps, once, then never again.
- Sign in, or sign up Connecting opens Koboshi in your browser. If you have no account, signing in with Google or an emailed link creates one on the spot. Nothing to fill in first.
- Approve what the tool may do Look up words, save words, set your languages. It cannot delete or edit words you already have, export your vocabulary, or change your account, email or password.
- Answer three questions in the chat Which language you want meanings in, which you are learning, and any others you use. You answer in the conversation; the account is set up from there.
Every tool you connect is listed in Koboshi’s Settings. Disconnecting one ends its access immediately.
A whole conversation at once
Been talking for an hour? Save all of it in one go.
Say save every word I asked about to Koboshi. Your AI reads back through the conversation you are both in, and Koboshi answers with a list before it writes anything: which words you already have, which it already knows, and which need a card. You look at the list and say yes. Up to fifty words at a time.
Nothing is saved until you agree, and your AI is told not to add words you never asked about. It can only read the conversation it is in, so it cannot reach into your other chats.
Older chats
What about the months before this?
A connected AI can only see the conversation it is in. For chats that already happened and ended, there is a copy-paste prompt that pulls every word you discussed into a file you can import in one go.
